Lt Suder Personal Log

We have continued to use our trans warp capabilities to get us back home, unfortunately, we also continue to stay lost. The longer we stay in the trans warp, more of the crew are being affected, including myself. My telepathic abilities have increased in power. I haven't decided if this is a good thing yet, as it can get quite noisy in my head now, as I can sometimes "hear" many thoughts all at once. I will have to study this and work on controlling this better. The crew seems to be getting frustrated and worried about getting home, although our Chief Engineer doesn't seem worried at all. He actually seems to be enjoying the challenge of trans warp, despite everyone's concerns.

I have used my abilities to assist the navigation of our ship while in trans warp. It worked in getting us CLOSE to home, however, still not home... Instead, we ended up in the Delta Quadrant and with a Borg Cube near. We found the Borg Queen to be on this cube. Amazingly, they did NOT attack. The Queen was actually more interested in a diplomatic mission... From everything I had read and heard, this was definately not the norm...perhaps it was some sort of Borg trickery but my abilities have told me otherwise. Captain Redding eventually had the Queen and a few Borg on our ship, discussing a possible treaty. I find the behavior of the Borg interesting and I have found that they find my abilities just as interesting. I will have to try to communicate with them more. I must admit that despite what I know about the Borg, I do not feel threatened right now..... I'm not sure why.
